To celebrate our tradition of building trusted relationships that grow stronger everyday and recognize our communities' traditions that are passed from one generation to the next, Ocean proudly served as the Official Banking Partner of the Miami Marlins from 2018 through 2021

In 2018, the 5,000-seat center was renamed the Ocean Bank Convocation Center to commemorate Ocean’s commitment to supporting higher education and the communities we serve.

Since then, the Center has welcomed thousands of students, their families and friends to enjoy sports events, as well as banquets, conventions, concerts and to celebrate FIU’s annual graduation ceremony.

In response to the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, which made it difficult for so many Miami-Dade public schools to provide their students with essential tools and materials, the Ocean Bank Center for Educational Materials was created to organize and distribute donated school supplies to educators free of charge and support their efforts to engage and inspire excellence.

Since then, we’ve helped distribute more than $18 million in supplies to over 32,000 teachers, reaching more than 2.5 million students.
